Why does it seems like the VR functionallity doesn't work anymore for HTC Vive in Firefox web browser. It was working wonderfully before the the webbrowser was upgrraded. All your instructions are pointing and referring to older web browsers. What can i do to be able to se the Sketchfab objects again?

    Hi.

Im using FOREVER VR glasses. So there is one small problem. All glasses have different lenses, so I havent option to correct screen deformations in mobile app. For example VaR's VR player have that option, and its changes many things to get reality feeling in that type of VR glass.

I suggest to make something like in VaR's VR right on VR mode screen (hidden when not active). All is needed is make ZOOM - / + and make sphere modification.

Thanks for the feedback! We'll look into it.

Any chance of Sony PSVR being added to the compatibility list?

We're looking into PSVR support,  but it's not on the short term roadmap, so I don't have any ETA.

  • When you open a VR model using the mobile app, the starting position bears no relation to the position set up in the model management's 3D settings (model position or VR).

Also, whilst I can teleport using Google Cardboard, the Daydream controller does not work.

Hmm. Do you see the same incorrect starting position when using the mobile browser instead of the app? I assume you're on Android then?

    Dear Sketchfab team and community

Im really enthusiastic about the Sketchfab idea, to share 3d-modells and even watch them in virtual reality.
I have a Samsumg S7, downloaded the Sketchfab app and wanted to use it with my Google Cardboard.
My phone generated the following image. If I watch the image through Google Cardboard the two pictures do not overlap corectly.

    (Samsung S7: 1440 x 2560 pixels, 16:9 ratio)

Is there a setting to adjust the view?

    Thanks for support

Hmm. Have you adjusted your phone settings to use something other than the default screen resolution or zoom?

I'd really love to see a PSVR app. I started uploading some of my models to SketchFab and would upload even more for evaluation of engineering models on 1:1 scale.

I believe this is a powerful tool for engineering projects evaluation and I agree a company would use other PC compatible headsets for this purpose. However, for a home user, hobbyist and makers, PSVR is a good balance between performance and price.

Should Microsoft Mixed reality devices be supported on Edge? At least thats what your VR landing page says.

Sketchfab opens in WebVR, but view position is very far away from center stage with sketchfab logo and there is no way to move. Thumbnails are visible, but opening a model wont work.

PSVR support would definitely be a plus! Although I'm just enjoying watching the great models here, not a designer myself, I'd love to have a look using PSVR.
