You can allow other users to download your models. At any time, go to Settings → Properties, and turn on Allow download, choose a License, and Continue. This is also available during the upload process.
- CC BY - Attribution: depending on the NC, ND, and SA choices, others may share, edit, and use the model, but they must give you credit for the original work.
- CC BY-NC - Non Commercial: others cannot use your model commercially
- CC BY-ND - No Derivatives: others may use and share the model, but it cannot be altered.
- CC BY-SA - ShareAlike: depending on the NC choices, others may share, edit, and use the model, but derivative work must be shared under the same license.
No Derivatives and ShareAlike are mutually exclusive. You can change the license or turn downloading off completely at any time from the model page Settings → Properties. For more details or to report a problem, see Report Violation.
If a model is available for download, you will see Download Info (price, license, filetype and file size) and a Download button on the model's page. Just click Download, confirm the model information, and click Download again. When browsing models, you can sort by Only downloadable models, or go to our dedicated Download Page.
You will receive the original file that the author uploaded, along with any texture and material files. However, textures that were added manually in the Material Editor will not be included (yet).
To ensure that users get your textures, you can include them a ZIP upload. You'll still have to manually apply the textures in the Editor if they aren't linked/referenced in the model file, but the download will be the full ZIP archive.
