Thank you! Uploading them to imgur was an immediate solution.

James - if we localize the annotations, does each language count toward the maximum limit, e.g. 1 model with 12 annotations and 6 languages = 72 annotations, or is it still only 12?

Are you planning to localize your annotations using the Viewer API? ( https://sketchfab.com/developers/viewer/examples?sample=Localization )

There is no limit to the number of annotations you can create with the Viewer API.

I see, so we can only do the localizations through the Viewer API, which has no limits on the number of annotations. Good to know, thanks!

Hi. I really dont understand how to use Markdown. I am making 3d models of rocks, where I need some minerals to have annotations with images. However, the images are on my laptop so I can't copy an htpps address.

Hi Zaturno - you'll need to upload your images into an image hosting site such as Imgur, or your own website / server, which will allow you to get an HTTPS address to the image file.

For example, here's an image uploaded to Imgur: https://imgur.com/gallery/9AYsBSU

Which allows you to retrieve a direct link to the image file: https://i.imgur.com/9AYsBSU.jpeg

Which you can embed using Markdown like

    ![](https://website.com/path/to/img.jpg)

Can you mark the annotation as resolved?

    Hi Mickey,

No, I'm afraid we don't have any features like that to use annotations in a review process, but it's something we're thinking about for the future, in particular as part of organization accounts: https://sketchfab.com/3d-asset-management

    Hi @james

Can you change front colour and size in annotations, if not does Sketchfab support HTML code to be able to do this. Can you please supply me with a document to help me understand and use this aspect.

    Thanks

    Hi there,

I'm afraid it's not possible to change the size or color HTML of the annotation display. The best thing to do is to use the Viewer API to hide the built-in things you don't want, and display your own HTML content.

Here are a few samples and demos:
