Collections let you organize models into different groups. You can collect both your own models and other users' models.
To add a model to a collection, just click the +Add to button on the model page.
Here, you can add the model to an existing collection, or create a new collection.
There is no limit to the number of collections you can create, and models can be added to more than one collection.
You can view your own Collections from your profile by clicking the Collections tab, or you can replace the "username" with your own in this URL structure: https://sketchfab.com/username/collections
The Collections page for your profile is public, but collections will not appear publicly if:
- They are empty; or
- They contain only private models.
From the Collections tab on your profile, you can click a Collection thumbnail and click the cog icon to access Settings. From Settings, you can edit the collection's title and description, or delete it. Deleting a collection will not delete the models in it.
Click Share to get a short link to this page. For details on embedding collections, see Playlists.
Click Subscribe to receive updates when the Collection owner adds a new model to the collection.

Thanks for the nice overview here. I found that pretty self-explaining up to know, which means it was programmed very good.
One additional question/suggestion. It would be great to have sub-folders. Is that possible? How?
Thanks for your reply.
Thanks for the feedback! No sub-folders at the moment, but it's an interesting idea. Models can be in more than one folder, so you could create an additional folder with just the models you want in a sub-folder.
Thanks for your fast reply and for considering to program that feature.
For your information: We plan to upload more than 100 files soon. Most of the models somehow belong to each other.
Showing them in more than one folder is a great feature that enables me to do the upload work even before the subfolder-feature is implemented.
We face the challenge of loosing a good overview in the first place. Creating additional 14 folders on the first level is less comfortable to browse that having two additional folders with 7 subfolers each. This is particularily true if we look in the future which may lead to the situation to have to do this with our other product categories, multiplying this effort, leading to a total folder count of over 100.
That's just not comfortable to use anymore without subfolders.
Thanks for the details. If you're embedding models on your own site, you could create Playlists and use your own UI to 'fake' the experience of browsing subfolders. https://help.sketchfab.com/hc/en-us/articles/203821409
It is possible to model the page does not show is not my сollections? I do not want to see that my model was added to the сollections such as trash, etc.
@degit22 - We're still working on this kind of moderation feature.
Is it possible to change the "cover" of your collections?I mean changing the file that acts as a cover of one collection. It would be great!
Thanks for your reply.
@eldrazicoffee - Not yet, but we want to offer that in the future. Thanks for your feedback!
I have collections, that don't show a preview image for their contents. Is that because all models contained are set as private?
Or otherwise, what can I do to get a preview image for these?
Also, according to James, I understand, there is also no option for editing the preview image of collections, right?
Greetings!
Hi @loehrer - That's right, if a collection contains only private models, there will be no preview, and there's no way to choose the preview (yet).
It has long been necessary approval of third-party collections. I do not like that my model is added to the collection with abusive names, and it still appears on my pages. When it appears?
I'm wondering if there's a way to change the order of the items within a collection. Currently, it seems like the collections fills from the bottom up with models and there's no way to alter that order once it's in place. Is that correct?
@rschmitz - Not yet, but it's something we want to improve in the future.
Is it possible to embed a collection on a website? That would avoid the need to embed each model manually, especially if embed frame could have customizable colors. :)
@sphax - Yep: https://help.sketchfab.com/hc/en-us/articles/203821409-Playlists

@alireza.pir Thank you for reporting this here and via the Help Center. It looks like there is a bug when it comes to adding models to an empty collection. I'm going to report this to our developers right away.
Having the same problem as alireza.pir
Hi all,
We have a fix coming for this soon. ETA is next Tuesday.
When viewing models and adding to collection ive noticed that after about 10 or so models i can't add any more the add button is greyed out.
@EmoJay Hmm. Are you adding to a collection from each model page individually, or from a gallery/explore/profile page?
I have the same issue as EmoJay. Independently from trying to add from model individual page, gallery, profile, explore, etc I have the ‘ADD’ buttons all greyed out.
I can also add the model to a new collection that I create in that instance, but after that I can not add any other models to that collection as well.
Strange. Do you see the same thing in different web browsers?
Can a collection be sold/purchased? What I mean is, is there a way to sell a collection of models. If so, can the price of the collection be less than if the customer were to buy each model in it individually?
ArtOfKarlB - Not yet, but it's something we're thinking about for a future improvement to the Sketchfab Store, or a different way to do the same thing and allow sellers to create bundles of items are a different price.
