The business plan really should allow for the removal of the watermark, or at least have another plan that allows white-label embedding. If not, you will be forcing others to create webGL, white-label alternatives to Sketchfab.
@briskvr - Thanks for the feedback. It's not on our roadmap, but maybe in the future.
Keeping our small icon is the only way for us to offer a free or very affordable service, we also don't know of any 3D viewer offering a full white label solution. We work with global brands like HTC, LG and Microsoft who are happy with it, hope this can meet your needs as well:
HTC: https://www.facebook.com/HTC/posts/10153739024758084
LG: http://www.lg.com/fr/minisite/tv-oled-4K-2015/main

As an 3D agency - is it possible to buy one account and upload files for several custumer - but in that way, that you just see the 3D Model from the link and not any of the other models?
@jk76 - Yes, but you will need to keep the models Private. They will be unlisted on Sketchfab, and you need to know the URL to view or embed them.
Hi James, the 'private' feature is still a little ambiguous. I completely understand the reasoning behind keeping the watermark for branding and recognition etc, but before I subscribe to a business plan can you please read the following example case and clear up a query for me.
A 3d model is embedded into a clients website (I have a business plan and all interface elements are disabled except for the mandatory watermark). Even if the embedded Sketchfab model is set to private, viewers will still be able to click the watermark and be directed to the specific 3d model page on the Sketchfab website with the embed link, share, like, comments and user profile?
If this is correct, can I ask why the watermark can't link directly to the Sketchfab homepage and why it has to link to the model page? I have clients that would definitely not like to see their architecture or designer furniture to be accessible outside of their intended website. Allowing viewers to link directly to the 3d model gives access to the embed address, which opens up the possibility for the 3d model to be embedded anywhere on any website - this is something that I simply cannot allow. I would also not want potential customers of my clients being able to link to my Sketchfab profile (this is a just professional courtesy for clients).
Thanks
Hi there,
That's correct. At the moment, anyone with the URL can visit the model page on Sketchfab. In the future we hope to offer a feature to avoid this like changing the watermark link or domain-level privacy, so that your model can only be viewed on the pages you choose.
Hi James,
I have a similar question to NiksLab. I would need basically the same functionality that Nikslab and you both described to keep people who view the file that is embedded on a website from being able to share it again or mess with any of the viewing functionality. However, since that option is not available yet does the Business plan also let you control the share & view functions on the Sketchfab model page? Basically I would want the model page to look the same as if were embedded with all those functions turned off.
@3D-Click - Thanks for the feedback, I'll pass it on to the team.
Hi James,
I second what @Nikslab and 3D-clicks say. The watermark is ok but I don't want users to be directed to the specific 3d model page on the Sketchfab website with the embed link, share, like, comments and user profile.
Thank you
Hi James,
I have the same question like @Nikslab and @3D-clicks. Will you at least in the business plan make it possible to control the share & view functions. I would like also to control how is viewing the models uploaded by me and on which pages you can embed the model.
Thank you
@thormastoves Thanks for the feedback, I'll add your +1 to the domain-level privacy feature request.
Hello,
We are experiencing this restriction with our Business account as well. Please allow us to remove the watermark as we do not want front-end users wandering into the private model pages. We understand keeping it there for other plans, but a restriction like this on a paid Business account seems a bit odd.
Thank you.
Will add a +1 to the Watermark linking to Sketchfab home and not to the private model. Its the one downside preventing us from upgrading to a Business Plan.
Thanks
+1 too... the link has to be private and cant be revealed.
this is an absolute no-go for professional use where the content might be
proprietary or sensitive and is only intended to be seen by a private group!
personally i think disabling the logo should be possible already at this price,
at least you should give that option. in a lot of scenarios having this link to your
website is simply not professional, when contents are used in marketing.
if you think that should cost more, name your price.
but you should really give that option!
by the way, i cant even try my models on sketchfab because i'm bound to an NDA.
full privacy should be possible, and there should be a private playground where
you can test your models without them going public, even when you don't have a
pro or business account, yet.
viewable only when logged in and models getting deleted after 24h should do it.
@indexofrefraction - You can keep a model in Draft mode and it will not be visible to others even if they have the URL:
https://help.sketchfab.com/hc/en-us/articles/115000472906-Draft-Mode
+1 for feature on business plan to remove watermark or maybe direct to sketchfab home page, instead of model page... I'm planning to buy year subscription but it could be a problem when share the model with my clients, the first thing they will ask me is about privacy of models.
Thank you.
Hello,
+1 for a white label solution. Is the enterprise plan with that option working?
Thanks,
@cronem - Yep, just email enterprise@sketchfab.com to discuss your needs with our team.
Hi James, I sent an email on Sep 27th, but still haven't got an answer...
Sorry for the delay! My colleague just replied.
Ok, thanks!
Hello! I recently set up a Premium account and paid for the whole year. I DO want to use it for the rest of the year, but I DON'T want it to auto-renew after the subscription is up. If I cancel through Paypal, will I still have Premium benefits for the duration of what I've already paid for??
Hello! Yes, if you cancel the subscription in PayPal, you will get the remainder of the year that you paid for, but it will not automatically renew.
