    Hi James, thank you.

I tried to send this email to enterprise@sketchfab.com but got “mail delivery subsystem failure”.

@rodolforubens - Hi, when you say "album", do you mean "collection"? I just tested it and it works for me:

    Hey Phil,

This is really weird. I haven't been able to reproduce the fullscreen button going off screen in any embed except your site.

@eortizs - It's not currently planned. We do not know if it is possible in the WebGL context. There might be some trick, but we're not actively working on it.

Ah ok, the src of your iframe element is https://sketchfab.com/playlists/embed?folder=13eef58bd63c478ebf6584a6da7f4f3a

    It should be https://sketchfab.com/playlists/embed?collection=13eef58bd63c478ebf6584a6da7f4f3a

It's the embed code you find here: https://sketchfab.com/rodolforubens/collections/farming-game-town-buildings

My use case is displaying a building interior (I'm with @imgspc). In that case, first-person generally makes more sense than orbit.

I look forward to your supporting this either via embed parameters or API!

    Hello,

You need a Premium account to hide some elements such as the info and controls: https://sketchfab.com/plans

On a side note, it's a bug that the theatre mode button appears at all in the embed. We have a fix coming.

It would be convenient if there was a way to transfer models with their settings from one sketchfab account to another.

Hello, in the blog you mentioned:

"Note that we currently cannot use anti-aliasing on the edges of a model with a transparent background (the background color we need to blend is outside the context of the embedded iframe). If you need this, you should use a solid color background to match your website instead of the transparent option."

Do you have a time-frame in order to support anti-aliasing using transparent background?

Just like Viewpoint-Metastream did it?  Did you know those companies since the early 2000´s?

    Best regards,

Hello, tell me please, I change the frame size - but the scale of the model does not change, as a result, the model is cut off by the edges - is it possible to somehow set the camera distance at startup

    Hi James

This is not a whim on my part. I just wanted to know if I could count on that before I change all my 150 models. ;)

    Thanks.

    Phil.

@AvenueConsultants I tested your link several times, but I could not reproduce the behavior you described. I let the model load and start going through a few of the annotations on autopilot, then I manually click Stop Autopilot. The cycle never continues - I was able to watch the entire animation. Clicking Start Autopilot continues again from where I left off.

Are you able to share a screen recording of the issue? Do you see the same behavior in different browsers?

    Hi Daniel,

I'm not sure there's a good solution for that at the moment, hmm...

Have you seen our ARKit demo? https://blog.sketchfab.com/augmented-reality-playing-arkit-sketchfab/

Yep, interactions between the viewer and the rest of the page (in both directions) is exactly the purpose of the Viewer API. You can find lots of other live examples here: https://sketchfab.com/developers/viewer/examples

You can add buttons to your page that do things like move the camera, go to an annotation, hide or show an object, etc.

@fredlucazeau - You are correct, we don't offer a full white label viewer at this time.

Keeping our small icon is the only way for us to offer a free or very affordable service. We also don't know of any 3D viewer offering a full white label solution. We work with global brands like HTC, LG and Microsoft who are happy with it, hope this can meet your needs as well:

Hello, I use Wordpress and Iframe to display, but I don't know how to use these codes to remove all buttons and enable autostart.

    Hi James,

Is there any way to have the model display the annotation labels(instead of clicking the numbers to display) automatically as the model loads?

I was thinking to upgrade to bussiness plan to have clean embeds in my website but it seems that the sketchfab logo will remain.
    Is that true ?
If so I think it ruins the bussiness plan as visitors can still get away of the page and get access to other models and authors.
I understand that you want to maximise sketchfab visitors but by paying high fees I would expect that you renounce to it.

@scicomm - It's something we hope to offer in the future. I'll add your '+1' to this feature request.

    Hello,

I have a Sketchfab model embedded on my website and scrollwheel=0 used to work properly, but since a few days it doesn't work anymore (my model doesn't load at all). Did I miss an update or something like that?

    Thanks,
    Théo.

Uuuh, now it worked, I was replacing the embed on the edit project page (the option we have to keep the item there and only update the embed code) and I think that behance was not really updating and keeping the old "folder" code instead, then I deleted the old embed item and added a new one and it worked. Thanks James, and sorry, my fault here, I should have tried to do that before! Thanks a lot.

    @ardensoftware

(There's no autoload parameter, do you mean preload?)

(Also, only the first query parameter has '?', the rest should use '&')

You can do it with the pixel_budget parameter. You could set it to any number really, but these are the equivalents:

    • LD: pixel_budget=2048
    • SD: pixel_budget=8192
    • HD: pixel_budget=0

So it would look like {modelURL}/embed?autostart=1&preload=1&pixel_budget=0

Just keep in mind that the pixel budgets are there for a reason, and forcing HD could cause performance issues or crashes on less powerful machines, like mobile.

  • I'm embedding a model using "annotation_cycle" for a client's presentation. I've explained to them that they can just click-drag to other places in the model to disable the jump from annotation to annotation. However, sometimes they want to hold at a specific location, not moving the model, and watch the animation play out. I thought that clicking the "Stop Autopilot" feature would do this, but after about 15 seconds, it jumps back into the "annotation_cycle" movement.

Is this a bug or a feature? If it's a feature, my only option for the client is to have them load the model twice -- once with annotion_cycle enabled, and the other with it disabled. But it seems that this is something that could be done with the same interface.

    The current embed code: https://sketchfab.com/models/ae2ef04e2926474f975f9e0b81348113/embed?autostart=0&preload=1&annotations_visible=0&annotation_cycle=6&camera=0
