    Hi @James

The embed mode seems not worked with a password protected model. :(

It works with a private model but not with a password.

Thank you to fix that. ;)

Just wondering if it is possible to navigate to a specific annotation (camera angle), via hyperlinked text on the same page.

The idea is to have a paragraph of text, and a 3D model next to it. When you click a word in the text paragraph, the sketchfab model rotates to a specific view/annotation.

Here is an example using a different platform:

Just wondering if this is kind of interactivity possible with sketchfab.

    Ideally some examples?

Thanks for any advice you can give.

    Hi @Markvdb,

Thanks for your interest. Yes, something like that is possible with our Viewer API. You can hide and show objects, edit materials in real time, control the camera, etc.

Here are some resources and examples:

This one in particular could be interesting for you: https://labs.sketchfab.com/experiments/annotations-sync/

WOW - Thanks James for the speed and detail of your reply.

Your kindle example gives me hope, because it shows the API talking to other items on the same page, but I am wondering if the control can go in the other direction?

I am really keen to know if hyperlinked text on the page can send instructions to the sketchfab API and make the model do things: eg. Go to specific annotation. Play animation. Show/hide object.

Can the API receive instructions from the page, or is the communication just from the API to the page?

Just wondering - is there is a hard coded limitation that makes this kind of interactivity impossible with the sketchfab API, or it should be possible?

Thanks again for the examples you sent, and your quick response!!

Yep, interactions between the viewer and the rest of the page (in both directions) is exactly the purpose of the Viewer API. You can find lots of other live examples here: https://sketchfab.com/developers/viewer/examples

You can add buttons to your page that do things like move the camera, go to an annotation, hide or show an object, etc.

Hello, tell me please, I change the frame size - but the scale of the model does not change, as a result, the model is cut off by the edges - is it possible to somehow set the camera distance at startup

@yudjin.3d - Can you share a link to the model? You can move/zoom the model to where you want it, and click "Save View", and this will be the default camera.
