You can embed the Sketchfab 3D model viewer anywhere that supports an HTML iframe, just like embedding a YouTube or Vimeo video.
You can also embed private and password-protected models even if they don't appear publicly on Sketchfab.
Embed Instructions
Just click the </> Embed option on the model page, below the viewer, and find the iframe HTML.
To embed the 3D model viewer on another website, copy the iframe code from the Embed viewer pop-up and paste it into your website's HTML code. This will work almost anywhere on the web - if the HTML iframe tag is supported, you can embed a Sketchfab model.
You can also embed models on specific websites and platforms, including:
Embed Customization
Each Sketchfab membership plan offers a number of ways to customize the Sketchfab viewer and embed your models. Check out what your plan has to offer.

Hi James,
How can I remove the model inspector in embed model?
I've tried "ui_inspector=0" and "modelinspector=0" but it doesn't work...
any tips to fix that?
Thanks
Hi,
It will be "ui_inspector=0" but it's not working yet. Sorry about that! We'll get it fixed, but until then you can only hide it by hiding everything with "ui_controls=0"
Hi,
Yes I know, but when I do that, the animation bar is still hidden...
It's not a big deal... I'm waiting for the update...
Thanks ;)
Even with a Biz account, would the ui_controls 0 and transparent 1 parameters hide the sketchfab logo and ALL the UI controls on the embed or viewer API version of the 3d object?
@kchecker - The Biz account lets you hide everything except the Sketchfab logo. If you want to hide the logo, you can contact enterprise@sketchfab.com to discuss your needs.
Hello,
I have a Sketchfab model embedded on my website and scrollwheel=0 used to work properly, but since a few days it doesn't work anymore (my model doesn't load at all). Did I miss an update or something like that?
Thanks,
Théo.
@phraxis38 - Hiding the inspector button should work now!
@theorichard - Can you share the model link or website like?
Hi James,
Here is the link: https://theorichard.com/about
Thanks! We have a fix on the way, hopefully tomorrow morning.
Hi James,
It's working, thanks!
Hi @James !
It works fine thanks ;)
Phil
Hello,
I am currently trying to do some of the embeds through the actual sketchfab link. I want it to run the annotation_cycle, but whether I set it to =1 or =on it does not work. I saw another users comment and your answer than if camera=0 is on, that it will not work, but even if I remove that piece of the code, it still will not cycle. Here is my example:
with camera=0
https://sketchfab.com/models/0e022dd05a854c908acfd8c15f7e2bdb/embed?autostart=1&camera=0&preload=1&annotation_cycle=1
Without camera=0
https://sketchfab.com/models/0e022dd05a854c908acfd8c15f7e2bdb/embed?autostart=1&preload=1&annotation_cycle=1
Any ideas?
Hi there,
Sorry about that! There's a known issue with annotations and annotation_cycle, but we have a fix on the way. It should go out tomorrow.
If it's urgent, you can add the `annotations=X` parameter to go immediately to an annotations, which fixes the auto pilot issue:
https://sketchfab.com/models/0e022dd05a854c908acfd8c15f7e2bdb/embed?autostart=1&camera=0&preload=1&annotation_cycle=1&annotation=1
By the way, you might want to increase the annotation_cycle number, 1 second seems a bit too fast.
um how do you take someones model they made and put it on blender and on too vrchat ?
Many models are downloadable or for sale, so you can download/purchase a model and import it into other software.

Hello, Could you tell me the reason why I can't remove the UI of user when I share to my web?
Is it need the Premium ?Thanks!!!
@redcherry If you're talking about the text below the viewer "Model by Name on Sketchfab", you can just remove those <p> tags from the HTML. If you're talking about the user info at the top of the viewer, yes, you need a Premium account.
Hi James,
I got it , thanks!
I'm embedding a model using "annotation_cycle" for a client's presentation. I've explained to them that they can just click-drag to other places in the model to disable the jump from annotation to annotation. However, sometimes they want to hold at a specific location, not moving the model, and watch the animation play out. I thought that clicking the "Stop Autopilot" feature would do this, but after about 15 seconds, it jumps back into the "annotation_cycle" movement.
Is this a bug or a feature? If it's a feature, my only option for the client is to have them load the model twice -- once with annotion_cycle enabled, and the other with it disabled. But it seems that this is something that could be done with the same interface.
The current embed code: https://sketchfab.com/models/ae2ef04e2926474f975f9e0b81348113/embed?autostart=0&preload=1&annotations_visible=0&annotation_cycle=6&camera=0
@AvenueConsultants I tested your link several times, but I could not reproduce the behavior you described. I let the model load and start going through a few of the annotations on autopilot, then I manually click Stop Autopilot. The cycle never continues - I was able to watch the entire animation. Clicking Start Autopilot continues again from where I left off.
Are you able to share a screen recording of the issue? Do you see the same behavior in different browsers?
@James Thanks for taking a look. I can still recreate this, but only under certain circumstances. I took a closer look and here's the rundown:
1. Clicking "Stop Autopilot" while autopilot is running stops the autopilot indefinitely, as expected.
2. When you click-drag in the middle of an autopilot cycle, the autopilot stops for about 15 seconds, then recommences, as expected.
3. HOWEVER, if you click "Stop Autopilot" during this temporary stop in autopilot, you will see some unpredictable behavior:
A. Autopilot will start up after about 15 seconds anyway
B. Though it is running, the "Stop Autopilot" option is not there (rather, it is "Start Autopilot" -- again, though it is already running)
C. At this point, clicking Start or Stop Autopilot at best only stops it for about 15 seconds.
D. In short, stopping the autopilot when it is in a temporary stop actually disables the stop-autopilot feature.
This behavior has been confirmed on OS X using Chrome and Firefox
I've posted a sample here:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/naunlbluu92rlp5/SketchfabAutopilotGlitchDemo_QT.mp4?dl=1
Ah, thanks for the details. I can reproduce this now.
I've reported it to our team and I'll create a ticket in our help desk on your behalf.
Thanks James
Is there a way to slow down the speed of the auto turntable animation?
Yep, the number you set `autospin` to defines its speed (and a negative number reverses the spin direction), so you can choose a number less than 1, e.g. `?autospin=0.5`
@AvenueConsultants This should be fixed now :)
Hi @James - if I purchase a plan that allows private models, and then embed some into my own website - is their anyway at all someone could somehow dig up the link and open it as normal/share it (even thoughts its private)?
Also is this privacy option available in the education license?
Hi @jnapier - I answered with more details in the support ticket, but yes the educational Pro account includes privacy options. The URL can be found, but there are other ways to protect the model, mainly adding a password.
Is there a way to have an embedded model on a web page that launches the same model in the mobile app? The reason is so people can look at the model in AR, which I think is only available from the app.
@Cyberben3d If you have the mobile app installed on your phone and click a regular model link, it should open in the app. Maybe you could have a link near your embed?
