If you’re ready to dive deeper into the world of 3D and you’re unsure which Sketchfab membership plan you need, this guide can help. We’ve compiled some questions below to make it easier for you to decide which plan is right for you.
Do you represent an Individual or an Organization?
When setting up or editing your Sketchfab profile, you can choose to identify yourself as an Individual or Organization. This is your Account Type and you can edit it under My Settings.
Individual
Choose Individual if you're using Sketchfab to upload your own work.
Individuals may use any Sketchfab plan (free or paid), however, they may not represent a company in any way or use Sketchfab commercially.
Organization
Choose Organization if your Sketchfab account represents the work of the company you work for or your own company. Or if you plan to embed the Sketchfab viewer on your commercial website, you should choose Organization.
Organizations must upgrade to Premium, Business, or Enterprise membership, however, there are some exceptions to this requirement.
Do you want to sell your 3D models?
If you’d like to sell your 3D models in the Sketchfab Store, you can apply to become a seller. Our team personally reviews each application and, within a few business days, provides a decision via email.
You can apply to sell your models using any Sketchfab membership plan.
Do you need a particular feature?
A number of Sketchfab features, including upload credits, upload file size, and the amount of annotations per model, have varying limits on different membership plans.
The quickest way to explore these differences is through the tables on our Plans page.
You do not need to upgrade to a paid membership plan if you get an error code when uploading.
Do you want to embed 3D models on your website?
Sketchfab membership plans have a maximum number of views available each month for your models. For example, Premium users are allowed up to 10,000 views per month and Business users are allowed up to 25,000. This total is based on your entire account, not per model.
Do you want to edit the Sketchfab viewer?
If you want to edit the appearance of the embedded Sketchfab viewer, you might want to upgrade to a different membership plan. Each Sketchfab membership plan offers different embed options.
In addition to the differences between the Pro and Premium embedded viewers (pictured below), the Premium plan allows Sketchfab users to hide viewer controls and information too.
If you'd like to remove the link back to the model page when a user clicks the Sketchfab logo in the lower-left corner of the Sketchfab viewer, you'll need to upgrade to the Business plan.

Do you want to remove the Sketchfab logo?
The Enterprise plan allows you to remove all elements, including the link to your profile and the Sketchfab logo watermark, from your embedded player. If you're interested in this functionality, please contact us about Enterprise plans.
