Sketchfab for Teams allows your organization to easily share, manage and collaborate on 3D assets together. Projects allow you to organize and share specific groups of models with select members of your Organization.
Creating a Project
In order to create a Project for your Organization, you must be an Administrator. If you are an Administrator, you can click the + Create Project button on the right side of your Organization's Projects page.
Once you click that button, you can title your Project and offer access to select members from your Organization.
Adding Members to a Project
From the Projects page, you can click the three vertical dots in lower-right corner of a Project thumbnail and choose Add Member.
Keep in mind, adding a Member to a Project is not the same as inviting a new Member to your Organization. You can only add a Member to a Project if they are part of your Organization, but you can also invite new Members to your Organization while adding them to the Project. You can see the Invite New Member button after clicking Add Member, as explained above:
Also, it is important to note that each Organization Role (whether Administrator, Contributor, or Spectator) and corresponding permissions are assigned to an individual Sketchfab user in an Organization. It is not individually decided per Project.
Removing Members from a Project
If you're an Administrator and you would like to remove a Member from a Project, you can do so by clicking the Project thumbnail on the Projects page. From that particular Project page, you can click the Manage Project tab and select Members (as shown below). From the Members section, you can click the three vertical dots at the end of the Member's row and choose Remove from project.
You can also remove Members by clicking the Manage organization link at the top of the Organization profile and editing the Permission column for the select Member.
Uploading a 3D model to a Project
In order to upload a 3D model to a Project, you must be an Administrator or Contributor.
To upload a 3D model, click the Upload button in the top-right corner of any Sketchfab.com page. Once you do that, make sure you're uploading as your Organization from the drop-down and then you can choose the Project or Folder you want.
Searching/filtering the 3D models in a Project
You can review all the models in a particular Project by clicking the Project thumbnail from the Organization's Projects page. Once you choose a Project, you can toggle on/off the filter options on the left-hand side. The filters include file format, polycount, uploading member, privacy level, and more.
Plus, you can always type in the search bar to search by keyword.
Transferring a 3D model to a different Project/Folder
If you're an Administrator, you can transfer or move any 3D model in your Organization from one Project or Folder to another in a few different ways.
The simplest way to transfer or move a 3D model to a different Project or Folder is by clicking the three dots in the lower-right corner of the model thumbnail and choosing Move Model.
You can also transfer a 3D model from one Project or Folder to another through the model's Properties page. You can access the Properties page either by clicking the same three dots in the model's thumbnail (as seen above) or by clicking the Edit Properties button in the top-right corner of the model page itself (when you're logged in).
From the model's Properties page, you can see the option to change the Location.
Keep in mind, changing the Project or Folder Location for a 3D model may mean different members of your Organization can view or edit it.
Folders
Within a Project, models may be organized into up to three levels of sub-folders. Only Administrators can create sub-folders. Members of the Project will have the same permissions and access to all models and all Folders in the Project.
