Daz 3D is a 3D content and software company specializing in providing rigged 3D human models. Daz Studio can export posed and animated FBX files compatible with Sketchfab.

Export as FBX (2014) and use the settings below. Click Accept and upload the resulting file to Sketchfab.

Step-by-step export setup for Daz Studio:

  1. In Daz Studio, go to File > Export...

  2. Choose Autodesk FBX (*.fbx) as your file format, pick a file location, and click Save.

  3. In the FBX Export Options window, configure the settings as follows:

    • FBX Version: FBX 2014 -- Binary

    • Include: Check Figures, Props, Animation, and Morphs (if exporting rigged or animated figures).

    • Output Options:

      • Check Embed Textures

      • Check Merge Diffuse and Opacity Textures

      • Check Merge Clothing Into Figure Skeleton

      • Check Allow Degraded Skinning and Allow Degraded Scaling

    • Click Accept to generate the export, then upload the .fbx file directly to Sketchfab.
