Supported 3D File Formats

An overview of Sketchfab’s supported, recommended, and experimental 3D file formats, compressed archives, and native exporter options.

Written by Noah

Sketchfab supports many 3D file formats, including most of today's popular exchange formats. To learn how to upload, visit Uploading 3D Models.

If your favorite file format is not listed below, you could try converting your file or using one of our native or integrated Exporters, including Blender, 3ds Max, Maya, Cinema 4D, Substance Painter, and many more!

You could even upload a compressed archive folder with your file(s) in it, such as ZIP, RAR, and 7z.
